something incredible happened today. I drove all the way to the base @ miramar and the little place I needed to go was closed due to a power shortage. So then I decided to buy fruit at the commissary. But as I found parking, the new song from MASE came on the radio "Welcome Back." I had a moment. 7th/8th grade anyone?? In the time that he released his last song to this new one, I've gone and graduated high school--I was laughing in my car.

When I was checking out with my fruit, I realized my cashier was none other than Nathan Pagador. And for some reason, I was so happy! I really felt like jumping up and down and saying "hi, you know me!! I know you!!" It was a very big deal. Maybe because I don't know hardly anyone anymore. I don't think he remembered my name, but I enjoyed talking to him for the 2 minutes it took to complete the transaction. Those two mintues, I have to say, mean more to me than any conversation I've had with any single person at school this entire year. So yes, it was a very big deal.

sonya, your post made me sad.
at the dining hall a girl and a boy were eating lunch and the boy touched the tip of the girl's nose with his thumb and kissed her head and i felt sad.
last true week of lectures, discussions, twenty minute walks to public policy, toby sightings, lying on the grass by janss, people watching from the royce arches. mixed feelings about leaving this place, like always.

last seminar... thank goodness. my attention span definitely does not extend to three hours. makes me want to run around in circles and go crazy the way we do in this room when we remember it's the size of a closet. (orlando in a closet).

seminar, break, stats, lunch, work, tae bo, barb's tennis match, work.

i'm going to try to make this week the best possible =]
