weekend: 8.5 hrs at Barnes and Noble (amazing feat, in my opinion) + 9 hrs of sleep:) + work.

I drove from my house all the way past the 15/163 split and then realized that I didn't have my backpack. LOSER, man. Had to drive all the way back home AND get gasolina. stupid idiot! At school now and seriously wasted like an hour of my life, but thats okay bc I had nice conversation with stace face.

I hate cocky bastards. crotch grabbers and their egos. whatever. I run over them and hang their scooter things off my car like hood ornaments:D haha, that doesnt apply to the prince, but thats my new motto for freaking idiots.

haha it's funny that right when i got back frm work i collapsed on my bed in all my exhaustation... and then i got up and instead of eating, went to work out. sleeping can be done at night. it was pretty fun. i ran around the track for a little while but it wasnt working out so i ran to campus and went around the school. then i ran to the gym and did ab machines for a half an hour. then i biked 5 miles to the fresh prince of bel air which was nice because i do miss tv. then i came back and went to the park with karen and barb and navs... sigh.... yes it was quite muddy but playing frisbee and pushing a fat dog down a slide was fun.
i'm at work on a break and i am soo tired. working 5 hours after staying up till 3 and taking a midterm probably wasn't the best idea but it's all good because once i'm off i can eat, sleep, gym, shower, do whatever i want because c'est le week-end! tomorrow i plan on studying and sunday my mama is coming for a short while and we will go to the last gymnastics meet of the season. so yay i'm looking forward to blowing off everyone tonight and just watching a movie by myself. just two more hours to go and i am free.

A few SHOUT-ouTS (in no particular order):

Happy Birthday Ashley!
Happy Birthday Melanie!
Happy Birthday Adrianne!

You are all 20 years old today;) hooray!

I just survived my encounter with my PoliSci TA. I felt like I was going to die before I went into the room, and when I finally did want through the door, I made a fool of myself trying to decide where I wanted to sit. The presentation wasnt so bad, I guess. Need to revise my paper. And he was wearing a "Vote for Pedro" shirt that I was amused to see.

p.s. stace I published your post because it was only a "draft" hope that was okay...

omg that was so weird. After spanish I went to this coffee stand thingy next to my class to get a latte (I swear, I've really been good at keeping my resolution for more water and less coffee, but I'm also starting to suspect that I've replaced coffee with tea). There was this man man behind me and whatever, I go sit down at one of these benches kinda near this coffee stand to read the paper and eat some cookies and banana. Okay, there are like, a million benches around me, keep that in mind. So yada yada yada I'm drinking and eating and reading on one end of the bench. The coffee guy that was behind we sits down on the bench next to mine. He just sits there with his coffee. When I finish, I stand up to throw my stuff away, and I notice that he got up too. I walk to the trash can like 3 feet away and the guy sits down on the bench I just left, in the spot I was just sitting in not 5 seconds ago. Like he was just waiting for me to leave! I was looking at him as I was walking away, trying to figure out if there was some special reason he needed to sit on my bench. Nope, he was just sitting there. I dont know, that was just strange. Have fun with that story please.
It's one of those weeks. There aren't enough hours (or free hours?) in a day to finish all of the work and studying that I need to finish. Tomorrow for example, I will be on campus and without breaks from 9am to 730pm. I don't mean to complain; I know others have it worse. I'm fully aware that in comparison to real problems, a ten hour day means nothing. But still, how am I supposed to keep up with four classes when there isn't time to study?

Class. Homework. Studying. Activities. Eating. Exercising. Sleeping. --> SOMETHING-- or rather one, two, or three somethings-- MUST GO. It's usually exercise and then sleep, probably the two elements that contribute the most to one's health and happiness. How sad that these valuable elements are the first to be eliminated from our daily schedules.

It is possible though, with Time Management and moments to breathe/ rest/ be thankful that you are alive. I think i'll try to stop 2-3 times a day for just a few minutes and really take in the beauty of everything. That's gotta do something for my sanity, right?

it is so sad that i'm avoiding sleep because if i fall asleep now i will wake up tomorrow morning and have to embark on my infinite day. less dreading, more appreciating.

goodnight

p.s. AWW I LOVE STACY . i love you FB! <3<3

"And this, according to Marleau-Ponty, accounted for the genius of Cezanne-- 'He [Cezanne] preferred to search for the true meaning of painting, which is continually to question tradition'".
I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamt that I had babies. not just one, but two--twins! The dream wasnt about like giving birth or anything, they were already there and they were mine. But the funniest part was everything I was thinking! I kept thinking that it was going to be so hard to raise twins at 20, and then that obviously led to me thinking how I had kids with no sex, and then I was looking at them and thought that I should have chosen the dad better, and how did I end up with twins because twins dont run in my family. And I was barely even with them because I was in the middle of guard practice. haha I think it all came from watching the Oscars and at the end there was julia roberts and I was thinking about why she was there because didnt she just have twins---with fun names, of course. I think I've just been around babies too long. bleh. go figure.

p.s. sadie go to www.thefacebook.com>>but you gotta have a school email address. and dont try to find whats-his-face on it either;)

friday: class, work, dinner, gym, air hockey, dancing at band ball in sweat pants, napoleon dynamite
yesterday: 11am wakeup, brunch, library, dinner, casino night
today: 11am wakeup, brunch, homework, gymnastics meet, homework, nap, track, gym, dinner, homework.

(not that anyone cares)

so i was standing in line at Crossroads, residential life's finest venue for mexican cuisine, and i started thinking of all of the ways to spend a minute:

studying
running
eating
consuming alcholic beverages and narcotics
sleeping
peeing and/or pooping
showering
talking
thinking
staring blankly at a television
having sex
obviously the list goes on

but the point is that a year is made up of months, a month of days, a day of hours, and an hour of 60 minutes. every single minute could really be spent doing anything. so i guess what i'm getting at is that we should think a little bit more about how we're choosing to spend these little minutes before we spend them. because they sure do go by quickly.

and i think we (or at least I) could definitely be spending them better.
the best part of edge of reason: Bridget Jones interviews Colin Firth. Scroll below the thumbnails to actually watch the scene:)
