Two possible ways to see tomorrow:

Tomorrow is going to SUCK. french, pointless anthro discussion, deathly work, rush to stats, leave stats early and miss half of lecture to RUN to the URC (on hilgard and le conte) to meet my new mentee who is 13 yrs old (weird). don't get back to my room until 8pmmmmmmmmm.

Tomorrow will be okay. I don't have to start until 11, i get an hour break to eat, anthro isn't so bad, i only have to work 2 hours, i'll get my friend to take stats notes for me, i will enjoy the walk to URC, i GET to meet my new mentee. i'll come back with jenny, eat and rest for the rest of the night. (rest meaning study).

WHY is it SO easy to pick out all of the negatives and complain about everything? I anticipate things too much... negatively anticipate, i mean.. dread things. I pretty much dread everything. it's such a natural tendency to concentrate on the negative. in some weird way it's more satisfying than being positive about everything.
but i will NOT let my negative tendencies defeat me!

I will have a good day tomorrow!!!!

this is one of my favorite pictures; just thought i'd share

This blog is seriously in need of some positive energy... here is a picture that makes me feel calm and happy! torrey pines, my love. (ps.my apologies to matt for publishing him on a website)

classes aren't going so well. pretty much because I'm not registered in half of the classes I'm going to each day. I really like my spanish teacher! He's so nice and teaches better than the crazy I had last semester (pure evil). Oh! And today I saw friend kyle at the bookstore and I was really happy because he remembered my name and other random stuff:) Oh lover! I know it seems strange that I automatically think that a person who remembers my name is just the most fantastic person in the world, but like, I notice and remember a lot about other people. and I don't even have to lover them! I tend to watch people and store things into little files in my head and so I always know a lot more about other people than they think I do, does this make sense? I surprise people with how much I remember, but like, I hate the way this sounds but I swear no one remembers anything about me? Ugh that sounds pathetic but its true! I promise I'm not trying to fish for compliments or ego boosters, trust me I'm a pretty conceited bastard to tell you the truth. anyway, I test people all the time...with everything! Not that I really expect to be all that remembered because all my ideas are not my own and everything I saw pretty much doesn't make any sort of sense to anyone (including myself). So friend remembering my name after 5 weeks, and that lady at the Greek Corner Cafe knowing my order is way super cool, to me at least:)

Today was the first day I've ever taken a miramar class in the daytime and hello mt. carmel! seriously like every corner I had to keep darting my eyes the other way to avoid eye contact. some of it was inevitable because they're in my freaking class, and I really really don't think I'm going to get into the hum section that I want. These people, I know are: 1) freshmen 2) not hum majors/minors 3) only taking the class for GE credit. Therefore, I think someone should just drop out so I can stay in the section because yeah hi, I actually need this class.

OH OH!! My professor in hum is totally the guy from silence of the lambs!! not hannibal lecter, but the cross-dressing killer guy with the dog and pierced nipples. yeah, that guy. It was the strangest thing because I was just sitting in lecture, listening to his voice and wondering where I had heard it before. Yeah, if I stay in the class I'm going to make him say, Put the lotion on! Put it on or baby gets the hose again! or whatever the line is.
