Paul Hamm--Olympic All Around Champion?? I THINK SO. He deserves it, leave poor pauly alone!

I am so tired. I tried to go to sleep after my NEVER ENDING day at work but it was just too stuffy in my room I felt like I was suffocating. Instead I decided to cook some pasta stuff and it turned out okay. I'm looking forward to my day off and sleeping until I DIE.

I'm currently looking through a very long list of saints--only on letter E--so I can find my saint's name! There are saints for everything: dog lovers, excluded people, fish, florentine cheese merchants.
whoa hi i feel like this past week didnt really happen.. i worked somewhere around 38 hours and still somehow managed to have a mira mesa deca reunion, go to six flags, see rachel before she left for europe, say goodbye to katyana, have a successful storytime, keep up with the olympics, visit with the frosh kids... and all while being deathly ill, by the way. i think ive slept a combined 10 hours or something. haven't seen the light of day or the beach in a really long time. now all i want to do is sleep.

wow sadaf actually beat me to a post! I looove talking about weddings--what fun! We did decide that it would be such a sad thing for the world if none of our gorgeous weddings ever came into existence...so please lovers, come marry us now. HAHAHA just kidding. But do you think you could just please know that we exist, leave your friends and CARE ABOUT US?? come on...

Yay for Paul Hamm and Carly Patterson:) And how nice is michael phelps? Soo nice!

So now I'm off to FIND classes because out of my 5 classes at school I only got into 1 :(

wow I really like watching the olympics. gymnastics(boys and s) and swimming(michael phelps) in particular...so exciting no? Womens volleyball is interesting too, but mens basketball is not.

ah gah. I hate having this feeling that summer is ending. Well, for me at least. Sonya and stacy are lucky dogs. The 30th keeps getting closer and I keep hoping that it's all a mistake. Has summer really gone by? are you sure? The worse thing about pretending like school isnt starting soon is that I still have to figure out my schedule and register for classes. I dont want to be the kid that is unprepared and has to crash a bunch of classes. However it looks like I'll be doing just that because with my late registration date all I can do is sit around and watch seats slowly filling up in the classes I want and my sections close. How UNFAIR. Please, I'd like to graduate sometime this decade thank you.

sometimes it takes something really drastic to make you feel like life is something worthwhile and precious. humbling moments make you aware that you are alive and stupid for taking it all for granted.

go usa! (stolen from rachel)
i recommend to you the sequel to Bridget Jones Diary. i admit that my entire reading experience was spent in a kind of sweet agony as i anticipated the moment bridget and mark darcy would finally finally get together for good (because things kept going wrong). ah! it was driving me crazy like those dramatic-irony type misunderstandings in teen romantic comedies (it was all a bet?! yes- but then i fell in love with you! whatever, goodbye! wait---). oooh mark darcy, you truly give meaning to the word "lover". why aren't you real?
wow that was a flashback... i never imagined seeing so many old faces at once. makes it seem like we live in a really small village-like place. we do? i saw both people i hated and people i lovered in just a few hours time. mc-ers from '05 to '01... how weeeeeird. "friends" i haven't talked to in a year or more, feeding me gossip as if we're picking up right where we left off. being asked things that are outdated and giving fake shortcut answers. and way too many old crushes. and memories, so many of those. i like it when you get together with a group of people you've hung out with before and the chemistry is the same. the laughs are the same and the voices and intonations and it really really feels like time stopped and a year didn't really go by, did it? it's comforting to see that some things never change.
